Ian's practice runs on two tracks. Under the press-bed, monotypes: singular, physical events of ink and friction that exist only once. On this site, generative works: images grown from his own code and experimentation and offered as open editions, printed on demand.

Ian was one of several resident artists at the vibrant Creative Arts Hub in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, and featured in several exhibitions.
And/Or Volume 4 (2 artworks) The Molloy College Sophia Project is a free online philosophy resource hub created and directed by the Department of Philosophy at Molloy University (formerly Molloy College).
Work begins in code — custom scripts written for Photoshop, p5.js and Python — then moves under the hand. No AI image generators involved at any stage. Some are studio printed under direct artist control
